LAHORE: A cohort of 29 Under-19 women cricketers will undergo a 15-day skill camp at the Inzamam-ul-Haq High Performance Centre in Multan from Sunday.

The primary goal of the U-19 camp is to identify emerging talent for the upcoming U-19 tri-series in Bangladesh.

Besides hosts Bangladesh and Pakistan, Sri Lanka will be the third team who will vie for honours in the next month’s tri-series.

Among the 29 players, seven players — Anosha Nasir, Eyman Fatima, Haniah Ahmer, Laiba Nasir, Mahnoor Aftab, Rida Aslam and Zaib-un-Nisa — were members of the 15-member squad that represented Pakistan in the inaugural edition of U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup earlier this year in South Africa.

The detailed schedule for the tri-series will be announced in due course.
