At least 3,478 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli air raids on the Gaza Strip since fighting between Hamas and Israel began on October 7, AFP reports citing Palestinian health ministry.
Another 12,065 Palestinians have been injured, with 70 per cent of the victims being women, children, and the elderly, the ministry said.
At least 1,300 others also remain missing under the rubble, including 600 children.
