LAHORE: Chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq has been named the head of national junior selection committee also by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)

The PCB, after a two-month gap, has also announced the members of the national senior selection committee, besides appointing six members for the junior selection body.

Former Pakistan captain Inzamam was appointed as chief selector on Aug 7 without any member in the selection committee.

Inzamam, who acted as chief selector from 2016 to 2019, has received the same members in the present selection committee, who worked under him during his previous tenure. The names include former Pakistan cricketers Tauseef Ahmad, Wajahatullah Wasti and Wasim Haider.

Meanwhile, Inzamam, who is currently in India where the ICC World Cup is in progress, has six members in the junior selection committee.

The junior selectors are Aamer Nazir, Javed Hayat, Mahmood Hamid, Naveed Latif, Salman Ahmed and Sanaullah Baloch.
