KARACHI: Bahauddin award

KARACHI, Feb 6: The Sindh Minister for Sports and Culture, Qamar Mansoor, announced that in recognition of the outstanding services of the late Bahauddin Qawwal in the field of qawwali, an award in his name would be introduced. The minister was talking to the sons and relatives of Bahauddin during his visit to his residence to condole his demise, said a press release issued here on Monday. He said that initiation of the award was to recognize his role for the promotion of the art of qawwali.—APP
