QUETTA, Feb 3: Police in Sui registered two more cases on Friday against the chief of Bugti tribe, Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, his grandson and an elder of the Kalpar clan of the tribe.

“Yes, two more new FIA were lodged in the Sui police station by a woman belonging to t he Kalpar clan of Bugti tribe”, official sources in Sui confirmed to this correspondent.

The sources said that the woman had lodged the FIR against Nawab Bugti, his grandson Nawabzada Brahmadag Bugti and Wadera Qamar Din Kalpar-Bugti on charges of kidnapping for ransom.

The Bugti woman, whose name was not disclosed, filed a written complaint alleging that the three had kidnapped her close relatives for ransom.

It was the third case registered against Nawab Bugti in the past week. Dera Bugti police had also registered a case against Nawab Bugti, his grandson and 11 other people of his tribe for attacking a Frontier Corps convoy and injuring 11 FC personnel last week.
