Jazeera Airways first flight arrives from Kuwait

RAWALPINDI: Jazeera Airways’ first flight arrived at Islamabad International Airport (IIAP) from Kuwait on Wednesday, commencing a new chapter in the airline’s operations.

A spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority said the Kuwaiti airline’s flight J9-511 had 163 passengers onboard when it landed at IIAP around 4.30am.

Jazeera Airways will operate two weekly flights — one on Wednesday and the other on Saturday.

The arrival of Jazeera Airways flight in Pakistan is expected to enhance travel options for passengers seeking affordable and efficient air travel between the two nations.

Jazeera Airways is a Kuwaiti low-cost airline with its head office on the grounds of Kuwait International Airport in the Al Farwaniyah governorate.

It operates scheduled services in the Middle East, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, and Europe. Its main base is Kuwait International.
