SWAT: A girl died and 13 others sustained injuries when a passenger van fell into a ravine in Bulkarai area of Matta on Monday, the police said.
The Matta police said the van fell into a deep ditch while negotiating a sharp turn after the driver lost control over the steering. As a result, Naseem Bibi died on the spot, while Roman, Raheela, Sanaullah, Mian Syed Jan, Salwa, Zakia, Rawassia, Rahmanullah, Uzma, Parwana, Saeeda, Sartaj, Rabia, and the driver, Mohibulllah were seriously injured. The locals and Rescue 1122 teams shifted the injured to a hospital.
