Man beaten to death

SAHIWAL: Three people beat a young person to death late on Wednesday at Ravi Chowk in Harappa.

Muhammad Javed, along with his friend Sajid and an unidentified person, intercepted Shabbir Ahmed’s rickshaw at Ravi Chowk and beat him ruthlessly over a financial disagreement. Shabbir was rescued by onlookers, and Rescue 1122 later transported him to the Sahiwal Teaching Hospital, where he passed away.

A murder case was registered against Javed, Sajid and the unidentified person by the Harappa police.
