HYDERABAD, Jan 30: A training programme for about 3000 members of the School Management Committees (SMCs) will be launched in Sindh to handle the education development issues and problems, particularly related to children enrolment, dropout ratio, teachers absenteeism and community support.
The programme is being organized by the Sindh Bureau of Curriculum and Extension wing, Jamshoro, in collaboration with Education Department, Government of Sindh,
In furtherance of this objective the bureau has organized a six-days “material development workshop” at the Government Elementary College of Education (women), Hussainabad, Karachi, which will continue up to Feb 2.
At least 25 experts are participating in the workshop who will train in six districts (Karachi, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Larkana, Jaccobabad and Khairpur).
