OKARA: A kidnapped minor girl was recovered while her suspected kidnapper was arrested by Chak 48/3-R police check post on Sunday.

A police patrol team, headed by Sub-Inspector Shahid Iqbal, found a suspicious man along with a little girl on a road near Kalar Bus Stop. The man introduced himself as Liaqat Ali, son of Naek Muhammad.

On further inquiry, it surfaced that the girl was seven-year-old Sheeza who was kidnapped from her native Chak 53/5-L of district Sahiwal a few days back.

A kidnap case was already registered with the Yousafwala Police Station.

Later in the presence of senior police officials, the Patrol Police staffers handed over Sheeza to her father, Allah Ditta, after completing legal formalities.

The suspect was handed over to the Yousafwala Police Station.
