SHANGLA: A Pakistan Army soldier, who was martyred in a terrorist attack at the Taftan border in Balochsitan the other day, was laid to rest with military honour at a graveyard in his native Ranyal area of Alpuri tehsil here on Saturday.

Umar Ali’s body was brought to his village on Friday night.

His funeral prayers were attended by military officials, the district police officer, Shangla, political activists and elders.

Army troops presented a salute, and military and police officials laid floral wreaths at his grave.

The police and army officials also met the martyred soldier’s family members.
