LAHORE: Newage Cables/Master Paints and Diamond Paints entered the final of the MidCity President of Pakistan National Open Polo Championship in contrasting ways at the Jinnah Polo Field here on Friday.

Seven goals by Gonzalo Deltour enabled Newage Cable/Master Paints to edge out Master Paints 9-8. The remaining two goals were pumped in by Vien Antinori. For Master Paints, Marcos Panelo hit five while Martin Carlos slammed in a hat-trick.

Guy Gibrat and Max Charlton helped Diamond Paints with a hat-trick each to oust Remounts by 8-5. Ahmed Ali Tiwana added two goals. From Team Remounts, Simon Prado got four and Mumtaz Abbas Niazi scored one.
