Pakistan has reported 43 more deaths from the coronavirus, up from 13 a day earlier, and 1,232 new cases compared to yesterday's 961.
The national positivity rate during the last 24 hours stood at three per cent.
The countrywide breakdown is as follows:
- Sindh: 424 cases, 15 deaths
- Punjab: 403 cases, 10 deaths
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 250 cases, 16 deaths
- Balochistan: 10 cases
- Islamabad: 52 cases, 2 deaths
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 23 cases
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 70 cases
