LAHORE: An unidentified young girl was shot dead allegedly by armed men in Mughalpura area here on Monday.
The girl was standing along a road when two armed men appeared there on a motorcycle, opened fire on her and fled the scene.
Quoting some witnesses, a police official said the girl, yet to be identified, got two bullet shots in her chest and died on the spot.
He said the police made announcements in nearby mosques to search her relatives but to no avail.
He said body has been shifted to morgue for autopsy and a case will be lodged the application is filed.
