ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on Thursday staged a protest demonstration against inflation and termed the PTI government responsible for the miseries of the common man.

PML-N and JUI-F workers and activists gathered at Bhara Kahu and staged the protest demonstration. The participants were carrying party flags and chanting slogans against the government and in favour of their party leaders.

Speakers on the occasion said the government increased the prices of petroleum products due to its inability to improve the economy. They said that people had to face problems to manage their kitchen budgets due to the rising prices of edible items.

They said the masses have taken to the streets and will not go back before sending the incompetent government home. They said people were finding difficulties to continue education of their children as fees had also increased manifold.

The only solution to the problems of the masses is sending the government packing. They said the rulers were dancing to the tune of the IMF but the people would reject any deal in this regard.
