CHARSADDA: Speakers at a multiparty conference held in Sardaryab area here on Sunday demanded of the government to solve basic problems of people of Boaba locality on a war footing.

Provincial law minister Fazal Shakoor Khan, PPP’s Babur Ali, JI’s Mojibur Rehman Advocate, QWP’s Jamal Shah Advocate, JUI-F’s Maulana Karimullah Jan, ANP’s Yousaf Khan, PTI’s Yousaf Jan, and others attended the conference.

Organisers of the MPC, Ayaz Khan, Zahid Jan and Naseer Khan also addressed the conference and highlighted the basic issues being faced by the people of Doaba.

The speakers demanded smooth supply of gas, end to excessive and unscheduled electricity loadshedding, establishment of girls and boys colleges, upgradation of basic health unit, construction of a link road and protection wall from Khyali Pul to Sarekh Pul along the River Swat, initiation of campaign against growing use of ice drug, construction of playgrounds, parks, and restoration of jirga system to resolve disputes among the locals.

Speaking on the occasion, law minister Fazal Shakoor assured that he would convey the issues of Doaba area to the chief minister for resolution.

He asked the people to cooperate with the police and the Peshawar Electricity Supply Company to end power theft and control crimes and menace of ice drug.
