KARACHI: Police’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) on Friday acting on a tip-off conducted an action in a Clifton locality and arrested two suspects allegedly involved in supplying drugs to students in Clifton and Defence, said SIU SSP retired Capt Haider Raza.

The held suspects were identified as Mohammad Ibrahim and Abdul Ghafoor while 104 grams of ice was said to have been seized.

Both the alleged drug dealers had previous criminal records as there were five FIRs registered against them mostly in South district, added the senior officer.

During the initial probe, suspect Abdul Ghafoor disclosed that he was purchasing and selling ice for the last five years.
