PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Thursday transferred principal secretary to chief minister, Shahab Ali Shah, and posted him additional chief secretary (ACS).

The seat of ACS fell vacant following transfer of Shakeel Qadir Khan, who was posted out as chief secretary of Azad Jammu and Kashmir earlier this week.

A notification issued from the establishment department said that the competent authority was pleased to transfer Shahab Ali Shah, BPS-20, principal secretary to chief minister, and post him ACS planning and development department.

It said that Masood Younas, BPS-19, special secretary chief minister secretariat, was authorised to hold additional charge of the post of principal secretary to chief minister.

Mr Shah served as secretary of planning and development department before taking over the office of the principal secretary to chief minister. He has also served as commissioner of Peshawar division.
