THIS is with reference to the report ‘Islamic varsity appointments challenged before IHC’ (May 1), which has described President Arif Alvi as the university rector when he happens to be the chancellor of the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI). Besides, the office of the chancellor has nothing to do with transfers, postings, appointments and the management of the university at large.
