CHINIOT: The Chiniot police continued crackdown on SOPs violators in the district on Saturday and sealed business premises, arrested violators and impounded vehicles.

District Police Officer Bilal Zafar Sheikh told reporters the police ticketed 200 vehicles and fined them Rs240,000.

They registered 23 FIRs against traders for violating SOPs and sealed 24 shops.

The DPO appealed to the general public to strictly comply with SOPs and smart lockdown for saving their lives from increasing Covid-19 cases in the country.
