A FEW days ago, a spokesperson for the healthcare department sounded alarm over the rising cases of children contracting the coronavirus, especially in Lahore and Islamabad. According to doctors, in a majority of cases, the disease seems to be milder in children. But in rare cases, children can become very sick with virus, and even deaths have occurred.
Parents should protect their children and encourage them to follow the SOPs, like wearing masks at all times.
