DADU: Three members of a family and driver of a car were crushed to death when a gravel-laden truck turned on its side and fell flat upon the car when it was overtaking it at Lal Bagh turning on Indus Highway near Sehwan town early on Monday morning.

Jamshoro SSP Javed Baloch told media persons that the car was on way to Jhangara town from Sehwan when the truck coming from its opposite direction fell upon it, killing all the car occupants.

The deceased were identified as Ms Aizan Chandio, 40, her daughter Azan, 7, her cousin Masood Chandio and the car’s driver Sain Bux Barejo.

The area people and police had to cut the badly mangled car to take out the bodies, which were shifted to Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical and Health Sciences in Sehwan.
