Benefits of studying consistently!

This is with reference to the article “Benefits of studying consistently” by Salman Ahmed Qureshi (YW, February 13).

The writer is certainly right that we need to study consistently, because regular study makes you familiar with all the topics and concepts from your books. So gradually, your brain grasps every bit of what you are reading. If we want to be good in our academics, we ought to study consistently.

Technology

Technology has made our life easy. In every home, there are computers, laptops and mobile. Due to this, children are getting spoilt. No one has time for family and friends. Excessive use of technology is now a common trend. Reading which had always been a fun, now seems to be a burden.

Technology is a blessing, not a curse. But it’s wrong use is making our life worse. So, dear people save yourself and your family from the disadvantages of technology.

A blessing can also be a curse

I am an avid reader of YW, and I enjoy all the articles published in the magazine, be it the “Cook-it-yourself” or the crafts, stories or articles — everything is just amazing. Recently, one of the stories which inspired me a lot was “A blessing can also be a curse” by Tanzila Asim Zafar (YW, February 13). The story referred to the blessings or the privileges we have and others don’t. We enjoy things because we are privileged, but there are many people out there who cannot have those things because of limited resources. So, it is our duty to be watchful of other people’s pains and problems, and help them ease their life.

Transformation

This is with the reference of the story, “Transformation” by Zara Ahmed (YW, January 30). The story tells us to be kind with people around us. We shouldn’t mistreat people because, first of all, it is morally wrong and secondly, what we do to others can happen to us as well.

Parenting your parents

This is with reference to the article “Parenting your parents” by Mahnoor Surahio (YW, January 23). I am thankful to the writer for writing the article in a very humorous way. The article brought smiles on my face.

Parents are very important as described in the article; all they need is our attention; we should give them love and attention and always tell them that no matter what happens, we will stand by them and will always take care of them.
