KARACHI: Senior educationist and former principal of Government Sir Syed Girls College Mrs Amna Kamal played a key role in promotion of healthy sports activities when she was at the helm of the institution.

Mrs Kamal passed away in Karachi on Monday morning after protracted illness.

Mrs Nagi recalled that the late principal had appointed her and built her confidence. She added that the gymnasium in the college was also built during Mrs Kamal’s era.
