LAHORE: The Punjab government has given a nod to induction of two more members into the already saturated provincial cabinet.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf MPAs Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari and Khayal Kastro are expected to take oath as provincial ministers at the Governor House on Tuesday (today).

The Punjab cabinet already has 44 members, besides five advisers to the chief minister and as many special assistants.

It may be mentioned that Mr Bukhari is currently heading the Punjab Assembly Public Accounts Committee-II.

Meanwhile, the government has also reinducted former aide to prime minister, Muhammad Awn Chaudhry. Mr Chaudhry, who has served as PM Imran Khan’s personal secretary, is a businessman.

The government notified Muhammad Awn Chaudhry’s appointment as special coordinator to chief minister on political affairs.
