PCCA, KRL win in Challenge Football Cup

LAHORE: Three more matches were decided on the second day of the National Challenge Football Cup here at the different grounds on Tuesday.

Waheed scored two goals to help Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCCA) earn a stunning 2-1 victory against Afghan Club, Chaman. Mohammad Nadeem scored one for the losing side.

Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) eased past Karachi Port Trust (KPT) 2-0 Imran and Izharullah scored for KRL.

Popo Club defeated Saif Tex 2-1.

Meanwhile, at the Fame Club Ground,

Baloch Club, Quetta also registered their first win beating Lyallpur Club 1-0. Nizamuddin’s 48th minute long range strike proved to be the winner.
