TOBA TEK SINGH: The Punjab government has closed the educational institutions to save the teachers and the taught from the coronavirus but strictly asked the children and their parents to get their B forms from Nadra offices and submit till Nov 30 (today).

Rush at the Nadra offices makes a mockery of the efforts to avoid unnecessary exposure.

CEO Education Mehr Aftab had asked the parents of the children to obtain B forms from the Nadra offices strictly by Nov 30 otherwise the names of students would be struck off the rolls. All the Nadra offices in Toba Tek Singh, Kamalia, Gojra abd Pirmahal saw long queues of people which not only exposed them to the pandemic but also created traffic problems at many places.

Nadra DO Matloob Hussain criticised the education authorities’ decision and said the alternative was to get forms from union councils at different dates which could spare people undue hassle.
