Gas shortage

Published November 7, 2020

I AM a resident of Cattle Colony in Larkana, popularly known as ‘Bhains Colony’. Since the heavy rains in August, the area has been facing inadequate gas supply. The residents have lodged dozens of complaints with the SSGC office in our area, but the grievances have remained unresolved.

On Oct 28, I went to the office once again along with a few other residents to file a complaint, but the staff on duty treated us harshly, telling us that there was no gas in the pipeline and they could do nothing in the matter.

It is strange that while there is “no gas in the pipeline”, the consumers in the entire colony continue to receive hefty bills.

The SSGC is requested to resolve the matter.
