Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that if the country's coronavirus outbreak worsens, the government will not shut down businesses and industries.

Addressing a press conference while announcing a power relief package for industries, he said: "We will only shut down those things which will not have an impact on our businesses and industries. We will allow [businesses and industries] to operate but with standard operating procedures."

The premier also appealed to the nation to wear face masks when leaving their homes.
