LAHORE: PML-N MPAs Mian Jalil Ahmad Sharqpuri and Faisal Khan Niazi called on Chief Minister Usman Buzdar at his office on Saturday and discussed issues related to their constituencies.

In a meeting with Mr Sharqpuri, the chief minister condemned the incident that took place in the Punjab Assembly with him.

Mr Sharqpuri apprised the chief minister about the problems in his constituency.

The chief minister assured the MPA of resolving the issues. He said he was saddened over the ill-treatment meted out to Sharaqpuri in the Punjab Assembly. He said the behaviour of opposition members was reprehensible and regrettable.

Similarly, MPA Niazi apprised the chief minister about the problems in his constituency, public welfare projects and development schemes. The chief minister noted the suggestions and assured that issues would be resolved at the earliest.

Mr Buzdar said MPAs were highly respectable for him and added that the rulers of the past used to marginalise all power to themselves through the One Man Show but his doors were always open for MPAs.

He said the opposition parties were trying to divide the nation but the people of Pakistan were well-aware and would never be hoodwinked by corrupt elements.

Both MPAs expressed their confidence in the chief minister.
