Third suicide case in Chitral in three days

CHITRAL: Another woman allegedly ended her life by jumping into the Chitral River here on Saturday, bringing the toll in such incidents to three during the last three days.

An official of Rescue 1122 identified the deceased as Sakina Bibi of Bilphok village located on the Garam Chashma Road.

The woman was said to be in her late 20s and had two children.

The rescue officials retrieved her body at Khanis Gher and shifted it to the DHQ hospital for autopsy.

Meanwhile, they continued operation for the third day on Saturday to search and recover bodies of the two women who had allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the river.
