SAHIWAL: Three children were attacked by stray dogs in separate incidents in Arifwala city during the past 24 hours.

The children suffered multiple wounds on the head, neck and legs, and were sifted to Arifwala THQ Hospital. Hospital sources confirmed that the children had deep wounds on different parts of their bodies.

Their parents said the hospital did not have a vaccine for dog bite and they were getting their children treated from local private sources. They also demanded Arifwala Municipal Committee immediately start an operation against stray dogs.

Ibrar Ahmed, the elder brother of Hamza, told Dawn that the condition of his brother got critical and he was referred to the DHQ Teaching Hospital.

Similarly, Rizwan was also referred to Sahiwal. Naveed, the father of Esha, said that after initial treatment of the wounds from the hospital, they took their daughter to a private hospital for vaccination.
