KOHAT: A huge blaze again engulfed the 132KV grid station here on Tuesday following a deadly fire which had suspended power supply to the entire Kohat on Sunday evening.

Officials said electricity supply was restored to 65 per cent areas when the second fire struck.

They said the Rescue 1122 personnel reached the grid and were struggling to put out the blaze.

It may be recalled that state minister SheharyarAfridi had arranged fresh feeders and panels worth millions of rupees which were installed on Monday and Tuesday, but they were again damaged in the blaze, which reportedly erupted in the feeder area.

They fire was continuing till filing of this report.

An official said keeping in view the intensity of the fire power supply to Kohat might not be restored for many days because new feeders and panels had to be installed again.
