MUZAFFARGARH: A lecturer teaching at a local college was injured seriously by a student in a knife attack at his house here on Wednesday night.

According to police, Salman Waheed who teaches at the Government Degree College, Chowk Sarwar Shaheed, said he received a call from Furqan Ali, a student of the college, who wanted to meet him.

The lecturer, who was seriously injured, said he invited the student to his house.

During the meeting Furqan attacked him with a knife, and fled the scene leaving the lecturer injured.

Chowk Sarwar Shaheed police have registered a case against the suspect.
