BATKHELA: Four members of a family were killed and six others injured over a property dispute in Wazirabad locality of Dargai tehsil here on Tuesday.

According to Levies officials, brothers Niaz Mohammad and Gul Zaman opened fire after arguments over a land dispute. As a result, both the brothers and their wives were killed on the spot while six children were injured.

The injured identified as Saddam, Danyal, Samad, Awais, Rayan, Hidayat Bibi, and Sameena, were taken to tehsil headquarters hospital, Dargai, wherefrom the critically injured were referred to a Peshawar hospital.

Levies personnel said an FIR of the case was yet to be registered.
