Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Secretary retired Capt Muhammad Usman has said that personal protective equipment (PPE) has been sent to five hospitals in Lahore — Children's Hospital, Mayo Hospital, Lahore General Hospital, Jinnah Hospital and Punjab Institute of Cardiology.

The equipment includes:

  • 142,644 masks
  • 126,700 gloves
  • 16,884 suits

Usman said that PPE is present in all hospitals across the province and the department is procuring the equipment itself along with that provided by the National Disaster and Management Authority.
