SAPM on Health Dr Zafar Mirza and NDMA Chairman Lt Gen Muhammad Afzal have briefed the Supreme Court over the measures taken by the government to combat the novel coronavirus. The briefing was given in an in-chamber meeting, which was attended by Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed along with other top court's judges.

Dr Mirza told the judges that the number of reported cases and deaths is lower than the number projected by the government. Speaking to the media afterward, the SAPM and NDMA chief said that the judges were satisfied with the measures taken so far.
