Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif, who is currently in London, has said that in light of the dangers of coronavirus, a public health emergency should be declared in the country.
He said that the government should show seriousness on the matter after the virus was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation.
The PML-N president added that "immediate steps" should be taken with regards to the concerns of the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and his team.
