In an interview with DawnNewsTV programme Zara Hat Kay, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza said that health professionals dealing with coronavirus cases are the "most vulnerable".
Responding to a question about what arrangements have been made to take care of paramedics and doctors, the premier's special assistant said: "I think that very few people give this importance. The most vulnerable people are health professionals."
He emphasised the importance of providing them with training and the correct use of personal protection equipment.
Mirza said that some training has been organised so far. He added that in the designated hospitals with isolation rooms, the isolation room staff have been provided with training and equipment.
