A day after Sindh's fourth COVID19 case surfaced, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah directed the task force to issue an advisory to hospitals to share the records of any patient with pneumonia symptoms with the health ministry so that they can be tested for coronavirus.

Furthermore, the chief minister, in a meeting with the province's coronavirus task force, was told that eight people — who are among close contacts of the affected person — have tested negative for the novel coronavirus while 19 people are yet to be tested.

The task force told Shah that two patients diagnosed with the coronavirus had recovered while the third was still in recovery.

Shah was also informed that currently 230 people were under quarantine in the province.
