The Khyber district administration has trained over 900 health workers in coronavirus surveillance and protective measures to check the spread of the deadly virus in the district.
A statement, issued by the office of deputy commissioner, says that a comprehensive strategy has been devised for effective protection against coronavirus.
The trainees were also given protective gear including masks and gloves.
District administration says that the residents who have recently returned from foreign visits are being monitored.
