WINTER has been more severe this year in Sindh and temperature in Karachi has gone below 10 degree recently. It has been observed in the past years winter is more severe after the vacations.
Children go to school in mid-January when temperature is lower than what it is during the vacation time. This makes both parents and students unhappy.
A simple and easy solution is to change school timings during winter and keep vacation as per schedule. Instead of 8.00am to 1.00pm, school timings in January should be changed.
It will be easier for parents and students to be at school if school timings in January are from 10.00am to 3.00pm.
