KASUR: Saddar police lodged a criminal case on Saturday against three youths who recorded a prank video inside the emergency ward of the DHQ hospital.

The case was lodged on the complaint of Kasur DHQ Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Muhammad Laeeq under Section 149 (punishment for cheating by personation) of the PPC.

According to the first information report, Muhammad Amin, Omar Sameer and Naveed alias Jani entered the emergency ward of the hospital and recorded a video. It also stated that one of the suspects pretended to be a doctor while another used hospital property and premises for a prank.

The FIR mentioned that the suspects recorded the video on Dec 18, while the hospital administration was alerted on Dec 27 when the video went viral on social media.

Police were looking into the matter without any arrests so far.
