KARACHI: The Sindh government has decided to disburse 65 per cent of retired employees’ monthly due pension without requiring them to submit any document, according to a handout issued here on Tuesday.

It said that Accountant General Sindh Ghufran Memon has urged provincial secretaries to complete pension-related formalities of their respective department’s retired employees within a year — the period for which this facility was extended.

Mr Memon said this would greatly help retiring employees as the procedure of sanctioning and preparing pension papers by provincial departments was cumbersome.
