MINGORA: Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said here on Saturday that Prime Minister Imran Khan had brought the country’s shattered economy back on track through his visionary rule.

He was addressing a gathering of elders and party workers after inaugurating the upgradation project of tehsil hospital, Kabal, during his two-day visit of Swat. Federal minister for communications Murad Saeed, MPAs, MNAs and other leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf were also present on the occasion.

He claimed that PTI was the only party which could bring the country out of the quagmire of problems left by other political parties. “PM Imran Khan has made all the corrupt political leaders unemployed and brought the country back on the track of progress and development which was why all other political leaders are against him,” he added.

CM says current wave of price hike temporary

He criticised Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and his politics and said that they rejected his traditional politics.

“JUI-F and Maulana Fazlur Rehman along with other political parties in the country have lost credibility among people as they failed to deliver during their tenures,” he said.

He said that PTI was seriously working for the uplift of the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that the current wave of price hike of various daily use commodities was in their notice.

However, he added that it was temporary and soon the government would control the price hike.

The chief minister said that Saidu Sharif Airport would soon be opened for flights, which would not only promote tourism but also facilitate people of Malakand division in speedy transportation.

Mr Saeed in his address said that Chakdara- Chitral road was included in the CPEC while construction work on Chakdara-Baghderai expressway would soon be started.

“Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be made part of the CPEC where mega development projects will soon be initiated,” he claimed. He said that Imran Khan was fighting the case of Pakistanis working in foreign countries and in one year over 4,000 Pakistanis were released from foreign prisons due to the PM’s efforts.

“During the previous rules of corrupt political parties no real development work was done in the country,” he said and claimed that PTI was undertaking serious and real development in the country.

He said that PML-N provincial president Amir Muqam inaugurated many projects, but none of them could be seen on ground nor their record existed.

“For 70 years no political party carried out development projects in Swat and the valley was kept deprived,” he said and added that the golden age of progress and development started after the people of Swat elected PTI candidates.

He said that after six months every Pakistani would have health card.
