Man kills father

BADIN: A man shot dead his father over monetary dispute in Tando Bago on Wednesday.

Waseem Ahmed Memon opened fire on his father Ghulam Mustafa Memon, 48, when he was sitting at his shop in Tando Bago town.

The man received multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.

The alleged killer surrendered himself to the local police. He reportedly said that he had killed his father over some monetary dispute between them.

The body of the trader was handed over to his heirs after the medico-legal formalities at taluka hospital Tando Bago.

After the incident, many shops of the town were shut down to mourn the killing.

The officials at the police station told this correspondent that an FIR was registered after the burial of the trader.
