APROPOS 'Reviving PIA Nov-06,2019, reservations highlighted are true but not being placed on record, because of non-caring attitude of concerned circles, as they receive protocols on their domestic & international travels and do not come across inconveniences & hardships, one ordinary passenger has to go through, specially on middle eastern routes. Certain foreign airlines operating in Pakistan, by offering cheap fares, compromise on their service standard, quality, in-flight service, increase transit time for onward connecting flights prior to dropping passengers at respective destinations, leave them unattended in transit without completing their journeys as ticket itinerary, force them to buy new tickets from transit point to complete journey, mishandle their baggage and ignore various SOPs. To save little PKR, Pakistani passengers suffer hardships in transit to complete their journey. This happens with most of uneducated lot. Min of Aviation & DGCA should look into it

The people of Peshawar and nearby areas are helpless to fly in either of the two foreign airlines i.e. Emirates and Qatar airlines at an expensive ticket since PIA flights are not available. These foreign airlines fly at least thrice a week, still the tickets are almost always sold out to full capacity of the plane still PIA never thinks of having its own flights from Peshawar Airport to various international locations. For traveling to Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia, etc. people from Peshawar catch flights from Lahore or Karachi in search of a better airfare.
