APROPOS KE-CNIC Numbers: The author has very pointed-out the relevant concerns of citizens on publishing on KE bills, the CNIC nbrs for general information and the flaws of genuine CNIC number, actually consuming power supply, is to be displayed. Even FBR and KE high-ups are very much aware of the ground reality, such as owner of building having Utility connections in his name but the consuming person is some other tenant. In this way, the possibilities of misuse of CNIC nbrs, as highlighted by author, cannot be ruled-out. KE Bills are distributed openly and any opportunist can take advantage of it to misuse. Even CNIC copies submitted in offices are marked specifically 'For so & so use' to avoid chances of misuse that is happening now a days. In view of sensitiveness of the issue, NAPRA should take note and suspend printing of CNIC nbrs on KE bills and discard printing of CNIC nbrs for those consumers already submitted their CNIC copies to K-Electric.
