KHUZDAR: Balochistan Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs Mir Zia Ahmed Langove inaugurated the Kalat Festival on Saturday.

Tribal chieftains, notables, students, government officials and people from different walks of life attended the ceremony at the Khan of Kalat Mir Ahmed Yar Khan Stadium.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Langove said that Kalat festival would be arranged on the pattern of Sibi festival from next year as the basic purpose behind the Kalat festival was to highlight historical importance of Kalat and to make new generations aware about it.

He said youths of Balochistan were very talented and they had proved their skills and abilities in several fields including education and sports at national and international levels.
