KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced a holiday on Oct 14 across the province to mark the urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, said a notification.

It said that all offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils falling under the Sindh government, except essential services, would remain closed on Monday.

The three-day ceremony of the urs started on Saturday with poetry sessions, literature conferences, and other activities to celebrate the poetry of the Sufi saint.
